ANLCA VP, Oduntan, Greets Prince Olayiwola Shittu @ 75

As the foremost, ex-president of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Prince Olayiwola Shittu marks yet another anniversary, I join the maritime community and well-wishers across Nigeria in celebrating the titan of our industry on the occasion of his 75th birthday.
Prince Shittu is more than a former National President of ANLCA. He is a mentor, a pillar of support, and a bridge builder whose legacy continues to shape the customs brokerage landscape in Nigeria. His leadership was not only transformational—it was foundational. He laid the bricks upon which modern customs practice now stands, and his name remains synonymous with integrity, vision, and excellence.
From his early days as a civil servant at the Nigerian Ports Authority to his pioneering role as Publicity Secretary of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), Prince Shittu has always been a man of purpose and impact. His tenure at ANLCA was marked by bold reforms, unity-driven initiatives, and a relentless pursuit of professionalism. Even in retirement, he remains the unbowed lion of the freight forwarding community—respected, revered, and still relevant.
At 75, Prince Shittu exemplifies grace and gratitude. A unifier and leader without bias, Oga Shittu remains a beacon of iinspiration, with unmatched wisdom.
Despite the storms that have occasionally rocked our association, Prince Shittu has remained a voice of reason and reconciliation. His counsel is sought, his legacy admired, and his presence cherished. Today, we celebrate not just his age, but the ageless values he represents.
On behalf of myself and the ANLCA family, I extend heartfelt congratulations to this epitome of humanity. May the Almighty continue to bless you with good health, enduring joy, and the strength to witness many more fruitful years.
We look forward, Insha Allah, to celebrating him again at 80—with even greater admiration and gratitude.
Happy 75th Birthday, Sir. You remain our Eagle on the Iroko Tree.
