CSR: Tantita Security Gifts  FUPRE 2 Best Graduating Students N10M

In  a determined effort to raise the bar of corporate  social responsibility (CSR), management of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) recently presented a cheque of N5 million each to two best graduating students of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) for the 2024 session.

Pinnacle Time reports that the gesture is aimed at promoting academic excellence and honoring individuals and organizations that have contributed significantly to the development of Nigeria’s petroleum industry.

The gesture which is in tandem with organizations CSR, is energized by the TSSL Managing Director, High Chief (Engr) Kestin Ebimobowei Pondi, and the Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Captain Warredi Enisuoh.

This is even as the Godfrey Pondi Book Club also awarded N2 million each to the lucky two best graduating students. At the presentation of the cheque which took place during the week at the Tantita Head Office in Bendel Estate, Ugborikoko, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, TSSL’s Executive Director Administration, Dr. Eddy Pondi, explained that the cash donations to the two top graduates underscores Tantita’s commitment to promotion of education and fostering of future leaders in the Nigerian petroleum sector.

It is to be noted that Capt. Warredi Enisuoh on behalf of Tantita, during ‘The African Child Award’ ceremony held FUPRE University on July 4, 2024. In accordance with TSSNL’s vision of partnering with educational institutions and corporate bodies to combat crude oil theft, and to train and build Nigerian youths into resourceful and self-sufficient individuals, the company pledged to encourage and empower top graduates as part of its CSR.

Speaking during the official gift presentation, Dr. Pondi further explained that the initiative is part of Tantita’s broader vision to support education and combat poverty and crime by empowering the youth.
