Shuaibu Bids 2 ACs, 2023 Batch NYSC Members, Farewell

Controller of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operations Unit, Zone B, Kaduna, Comptroller Ahmadu Shuaibu, recently honoured Two (2) Assistant Comptrollers who have disengaged from active service a farewell ceremony.
The historic event, held at Kangiwa House, headquarters of the FOU Zone B, marked the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of the retired senior officers, including the 2023 Batch C Corps Members, who recently also concluded their mandatory service at the unit.
The Unit Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Isah in a release listed the retiring officers as AC Suraj Umar Faruk, who was until retirement the Acting Deputy Comptroller Administration and Assistant Comptroller Dan-Alfa Lawal Ibrahim, the Acting Deputy Comptroller Enforcement of the FOU Zone B Kaduna.
Speaking during the ceremony, Comptroller Shuaibu praised the outgoing officers for their diligence, hard work, and integrity, stating, stating that “diligence, hard work, honesty and integrity are the bedrock of our Service.
“This occasion is organized to encourage officers and men to do their best and a platform to recognize their contributions and dedication to duty.”
The Unit Controller who also used the ceremony to bid farewell to the 2023 Batch ‘C’ NYSC Members who completed their one-year mandatory service at the NCS-FOU B, advised the NYSC Members to imbibe professionalism in their chosen careers and to be good ambassadors of their families and the NCS.
He further admonished them to ensure that relationships established during their service transcend their lives.
The ceremony was attended by the Customs Area Controller (CAC) Kaduna Area Command, Comptroller Ahmed Tijjani Abe fsi Ph.D. , senior officers, family members, friends and well wishers.
