Nigeria’s popular and leading maritime security firm, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) is again trending for the very right reasons as always, as stakeholders from different segments of society has commended its participation at the ongoing Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, United States of America.
This is coming on the heels of the reported presidential approval of the Marine and Blue Economy 10 Years National Development Policy plan, both of which clearly prepares Nigeria for a well coordinated development and production output in the following years.

Tantita ED Technical Operations, Capt. Warredi and officials of OTC waiting to cut the conference tape to declare the conference open in Houston.
One of the earliest stakeholders to thumb up Tantita is the President of Ijaw Youth Council, Jonathan Lokpobiri, who not only commended the company for its laudable strides at the ongoing conference but eulogized the security company for flying the nation’s flag positively to the outside world.
Lokpobiri who visited the Tantita’s stand at the event said Tantita has demonstrated sufficient trust, professionalism and competence in maritime security services to begin to consider availing its services beyond the shores of Nigeria’s maritime, oil and gas shores.
“This is the stand of Tantita Security Nigeria Limited at the ongoing Offshore Technology Conference in America, we want to see Tantita in China, we want to see Tantita in Europe and in other African countries.
“As long as security is concerned, Tantita Security Nigeria Limited has established a track record and should be consulted. From what I have seen on ground here, all the gadgets, and the slides of how the company carries out its operations, I have no doubts at all of the capacity and capability of the company to deliver, especially when you take into consideration what they have done back in Nigeria”, adding:
“They have been able to drastically increase Nigeria’s oil production through effective monitoring and policing the country’s oil pipelines and other oil facilities.”
Also acknowledging Tantita on its latest strides, Head of Sea Empowerment and Research Center (SEREC), Dr. Eugene Nweke applauded the Nigerian maritime, oil and gas security firm for its rebranding and repositioning effort, noting he has no doubt that Tantita will go places.
“The Tantitta’s determination to rebrand and reposition itself as a leader in tackling security and environmental concerns in the Niger Delta region is indeed laudable. The video footage of the conference simply highlights Tantitta’s efforts to rebrand and reposition itself as a leader in tackling security and environmental concerns in the Niger Delta region.
“It is not also surprising that stakeholders continuously commend the Tantita’s efforts in thinking national, home safety and security first of our maritime industry, as a priority, thus, attracting increased support and collaboration in the future.
“It must be stated that at the long run, the development seems promising for the well being of Tantita, Nigeria and the Niger Delta region. And to us at SEREC this development has some potential benefits, because it’s obvious that Tantita’s determination and participation in the global scene could trigger many benefits not only for Nigeria but for the sub region, Africa and the rest of the world in terms of Tantita’s unique maritime security proficiency.
According to Nweke, Tantita’s pedigree and recorded successes can also contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth by continuing to protect the country’s oil assets and promoting a more stable business environment.
“At a time that Mr. President of the Federal Republic has just graciously consented to the Marine and Blue Economy 10 Years National Development Policy plan, Tantita’s role cannot be better highlighted”, Nweke enthused.
Also speaking, Mr. Igho Kagbare, Chairman Data Resources Ltd opined that the ongoing conference will serve to broaden its clientele scope, and thus preparing it to venture into foreign environment.
He said, “I think that Tantita will return from this OTC Conference better equipped and connected with a wider network of global collaborators to enhance its operations in tackling crude oil theft, environmental issues and security concerns within the Niger Delta region and beyond.
“A security firm that is able to suppress pipe breaking and crude oil smuggling in the Niger Delta can tackle any related issues, elsewhere. I foresee a major maritime security player in the global space in Tantita.”
Tantita’s Executive Director, Technical and Operations, Capt. Warredi Enisouh who is representing the company at the conference thanked Nigerians for their support, especially for believing in Tantita to always deliver; assuring that with the conference, people are asking to know more about Tantita.
“One small step for Tantita and a great one for Nigeria. Well done to you all for the priceless support. Nigeria has never been seen in this light here. We are currently overwhelmed and swarmed with people who want to hear our story. It’s good to have leaders who know that failing to plan is planning to fail.”
The federal government through the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) had contracted Tantita to monitor the nation’s oil pipelines as well provide surveillance on movement of crude on the waterways to prevent theft and smuggling.
Following its impressive emergence at tackling crude oil theft Tantita sooner gained public attention, trust and support as it steadily and decisively routed the criminal pipeline vandals, leading to gradual but sustained increase in crude oil production, free of the hitherto barefaced criminal sabotage and stealing, which had at the time of its emergence, gone down to all time low average of 800,000 bpd.
It will be recalled that the NNPCL while announcing the last quarter of 2024 crude production chart, indicated an impressive rise with a recorded 1.486 million bpd in November 2024.
The Tantita story also recognizes the positive and immeasurable partnership synergy and support it received from critical stakeholders like the Nigerian Navy (NN), Nigerian Police Force (NPF) and the Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) in successfully stemming the high heel criminality that hitherto held the nation and government to ransom.
