ANLCA Ex-President, Senator Kamba, Endorse ENSO
…As Customs Hqtrs Receives Campaign Team
BY EGUONO ODJEGBA
Like the eagle gifted with soaring to great heights apparently owing to its inherent capability, the Emenike Nwokeoji and Segun Oduntan (ENSO) presidential Restoration Team perched at the stronghold of the Arewa Maritime Group earlier today, consulting, campaigning and receiving critical endorsements.
On arrival at Abuja, the epicenter of Arewa Maritime location, the ENSO Campaign Organisation led by its Director General, Sir John Oforbike, and Nwokeoji and his team headed straight to ANLCA Abuja Secretariat, where they were received by members and the chapter executives led by Abdul Ajavi.
The campaign team proceeded to the residence of former president of the association who later became a lawmaker, Senator Sanni Kamba, who expressed delight at the homage paid to him, and with the emergence of Nwokeoji and his team, noting that the team has the wherewithal, competence, decorum and character to drive the revival of ANLCA.
The highlight of the visit was when Kamba endorsed the ENSO Team as the cherished team by signing on the campaign emblem. With Kamba’s endorsement, it brings to three, former national presidents of the association who have expressed implicit trust and confidence in the presidential ambition of Nwokeoji and his team to wrest ANLCA from the wilderness of gross ineptitude, incapacity, deceit, hopelessness, drunk and dangerous past leadership.
The ENSO Team next port of call was the Nigeria Customs Service headquarters Abuja, where they were received by the DCG Trade and Tariff, DCG Gumi and ACG Musa MBA. It was a momentous reunion of the two organizations responsible for customs trade and revenue generation.
The ENSO Team also awakened the nostalgia of the strategic fellowship both organizations enjoyed in the past before the relationship suffered a spate of arrogant abuse and insults, sometimes tending towards blackmail.
Going back memory lane, Nwokeoji pledge to revive the lost partnership o help bring about mutual trust, fidelity and compliance. Responding, the customs management chiefs appealed to the team to rebuild the corporate image of the association and indeed that of customs brokerage, and to fulfill its pledge to resuscitate the once vibrant and robust relationship that existed between customs and ANLCA.
