ANLCA: Customs CG, Oyetola, Bello-Koko, Hassan Bello, Others To Grace NECOM’s Inauguration

The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has fixed Thursday 23rd of November for the official inauguration of its newly elected National Executive Committee (NECOM) led by Mr Emenike Kingsley Nwokeoji.
Expected to grace the elaborate event scheduled to hold in Ikeja Lagos is the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Hon. Adegboyega Oyetola, the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MRF, Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Mohammed Bello-Koko, former Executive Secretary of Nigerian Shippers Council, Barr. Hassan Bello.
Also expected at the event are past leaders of the association including Chief Peter Okocha, Sir Ernest Elochukwu, Prince Olayiwola Shittu, Dr. Kayoed Farinto, members of the Board of Trustees led by Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha, among other dignitaries.
According to a statement by the Special Assistant to the ANLCA President on Media, Alhaji Ayokunle Sulaiman, while the Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs is slated to be the Special Guest of Honor at event, Hassan Bello is scheduled to deliver the lead presentation, even as Bello-Koko and the crème-de-la-crème of the maritime industry, including operators and players are expected to be in attendance.
Alhaji Sulaiman disclosed that a 13-man Planning Committee headed by leading maritime amazon, Hajia Bola Muse, Financial Secretary of the association has been set up by the NECOM to steer the event.
Other members of the Planning Committee include ANLCA Airport Chairman, Bangalore Adewusi, Western Zonal Coordinator, Femi Anifowose, Comrade Joe Sanni and Alhaji Ayo Sulaiman who is the Secretary of the Committee.
He said, “Stakeholders in the maritime and aviation sector have been invited, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy is expected, some of our Royal fathers including His Royal Highness, Oba Adegboruwa Igbobo, HRM Sekunmade of Ebute Ikorodu among others, are expected.
“Also, past presidents of ANLCA and past Board of Trustees Chairmen will be on ground. Already, the Customs Comptroller General has given us his word thither that he would be coming personally for the inauguration.”
