League Condoles Bello-Koko, Over Father’s Passage

The League of Maritime Editors (LOME) on Tuesday   condoled the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mohammed Bello-Koko over the passage of father,  Alhaji  Muhammad Koko.

Elder  Koko was said to have died last week Friday in his home town after a protracted illness.

The President of the League, High  Chief Timothy Okorocha,  in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Francis Ugwoke, described the passage of the elder statesman as painful at this time.

Okorocha in his condolence message enjoined the family to accept the sad event with gratitude for his life, and prayed for the repose of the soul of the NPA boss late father. He also prayed to God to give the Koko family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

It would be recalled that the MD of NPA weekend announced the passage of his dear father via his twitter handle.
