Peters Appointed DCG As Shuaibu, Salefu Goes To FOU Zone A, Zone D

Management of the Nigeria Customs Service has in a major shakeup elevated the service book-worm, Peters Olugbeyoga psc+ from the rank of assistant comptroller general (ACG) to deputy comptroller general(DCG), while Comptroller Adekunle Oloyede was appointed ACG; even as the management recalled four customs area controllers to the head office.

Also recalled to headquarters is Comptroller Kehinde Ejibunu and Comptroller Baba Imam, helmsmen of the Federal Operations Unit Zone A and Port Harcourt Area 2 Command Onne, respectively.

The development also affected an ace anti-smuggling czar and customs area controller of Ogun 1 Command Idiroko, Comptroller Ahmadu Bello Shauibu, who has been assigned to the Federal Operations Unit, Zone B, Kaduna, to take over from Comptroller Wada Cheda, who has been re-assigned to the headquarters.

Taking over from Comptroller A.B Shuaibu is Comptroller Ojo, said to be vast in core operational areas, as Comptroller Bamisaye will resume as the new helmsman at the Western Marine Command, even as Comptroller Babandede goes to Onne to relieve Comptroller Imam moving to the headquarters as Controller Import and Export.

In the same vein, the Customs Area Controller, Western Marine Command, Comptroller Odaudu Salefu will be proceeding to Federal Operations Zone D as the unit’s new controller, while Comptroller Oladeji replaces smuggler’s nightmare, the essential Comptroller Kehinde Ejibunu at the Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone ‘A’.

While Comptroller Igbadi MIC was listed to take over from Comptroller Kolade at FOU Zone C, Comptroller Adegbite has been slated to take over from Comptroller Saidu Abba Yusuf at the Ports Terminal Multi-Services Limited (PTML). Also affected is Comptroller M.S Yusuf of Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA) Command, who is being replaced with Comptroller M.I Awe.

Also listed in the current movement is Comptroller Luka who is expected to take over at the Imo/Abia Command.

The postings, movements and change of batons in all the affected areas are expected to be concluded latest by end of next week.
