Ricketts, ACG Adeniyi, Osamgbi, Osagie, Others Inducted Fellow of NIPR
The Chairman Board of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Chief Akinwumi Ricketts has been inducted as Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
Chief Ricketts according to statement by the General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications of NPA, Ibrahim Nasiru, said NIPR is a worthy professional body government and people of Nigeria should be proud of.
“I am highly delighted because nothing beats the feelings when you reach the highest echelon of whatever Organization you’re involved in and what excites me more is when I see my colleagues who are present here too.
“It makes me so happy and feel that I’m in the right kind of place where best practitioners are assembled.
“My advice to potential fellows and Nigerians is basically to do the right thing wherever you found yourself. Work hard, be accountable, have faith and believe in God.”
Veteran image makers including the
former Customs spokesman of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), ACG Wale Adeniyi; former spokesman of the Nigerian Marítime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Mr. Isichei Osamgbi; spokesman of the NIgeria Police Force, Mr. Frank MBA and the current spokesman of NIMASA, Mr. Osagie Edward, including the the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI), Col Aliyu Yusuf were also inducted fellows of the prestigious NIPR.
Speaking during the inauguration and induction of Fellows at the 2022 NIPR Annual General Meeting held in Abuja, the Chairman Board of Directors of NPA, Ricketts tasked Nigerians to be hardworking, committed and accountable while rendering Services.
