Anaroke, Bala-Usman, Capt. Iheanacho, Slated for WISTA Award

The Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association ( WISTA) Nigeria is poised to confer merit awards on a select personalities in the maritime and transport industry to celebrate  productivity and support for gender diversity.

A release by the organizers listed the awardees to include Mr. Kingsley Anaroke, Publisher of MMS Plus Newspaper; Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho, Chairman, Integrated Oil and Gas Limited; Dr Magdalene Ajani, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation; Ms. Hadiza Bala-Usman, former Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA);Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, a foremost maritime lawyer.

WISTA Nigeria, according to the President, Mrs. Eunice Ezeoke, is billed to hold its 2022 Business Luncheon / Award tagged, “Innovation and Digitization For Sustainable Shipping”. The WISTA Business Luncheon is an annual event organized by WISTA  Nigeria  and uses this occasion to honour some eminent people who have made great input in their chosen careers and professions.

According to Ezeoke, the annual event is billed to hold on Thursday, 29th September 2022 at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
