Maritime Editors Congratulates Dantsoho, Adeyeye, List Areas of Focus

The League of Maritime Editors (LOME) on Tuesday congratulated the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Abubakar Dantsoho and the new Chairman of NPA Board,  Senator Adedayo Adeyeye on  their new appointment and wished both public officers a successful tenure.

In the same vein, LOME charged the new drivers of the Authority to continue with the rehabilitation of failed ports infrastructure  as well as consolidate of the efforts of the immediate past administration in the area of automation and digitalization of port processes., among other laudable agenda of the past administration.

The League in a statement signed by the President, Chief Timothy Okorocha and  the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Francis Ugwoke,  described the appointments of Dantsoho and Adeyeye as a call to national service and urged them to remain alive to their responsibilities.

While commending the duo’s impressive credentials and wealth of experience, the  League challenged the new leadership of the Authority’s executive management to strive to take Nigerian port to the next level into a regional hub through practical economic dynamics.

The League prayed to God to give Dantsoho and Adeyeye   the wisdom and strength to carry out their   new assignment for the interest of the country.
