Prince Oduntan Wins Most Outstanding Customs Broker 2024

was Tuesday, April 15, 2025 honored as the Most Outstanding Customs Broker of the Year 2024 at the Lagos prestigious Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.

Prince Oduntan was among other distinguished industry players and stakeholders honored by the Maritime Industry Merit Award (MIMA) organised by Maritime Media Limited, Publishers of the Shipping World Magazine at the night of glitz and glamour; with the crème-de-la-crème of the freight forwarding sector, including highly respected ANLCA former National President, Prince Olayiwola Shittu and the incumbent National President, Mr. Emenike Kingsley Nwokeoji, in attendance.

Others who graced the occasion include board members, national, zonal and chapter leaders nationwide, chief amongst who were Alhaji Femi Anifowose, Hajia Bola Muse, Prince Taiye Oyeniyi, Demola Mumuney, immediate past and present Onne Chapter chairmen, Mike Ebeato and Ifanyi Isikaku, Dayo Azeez, the Essential Joe Sanni, etc.

Prince Oduntan, a proud scion of the Ikorodu Kingdom royalty also attracted the presence of royal fathers including the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Oba Semiudeed Orimadegun Kasali, including His Royal Majesty Oba Sejiro James of Kweme Kingdom in Badagry; among others.

The proud CEO of Settle Systems Nigeria Limited established in 1998 with offices in Apapa, Ikeja, Port Harcourt and Abuja presides over a reputable freight forwarding, logistics and shipping industry concerns and other sister companies in Nigeria.

A onetime ANLCA Tin Can Chapter Chairman, Prince Oduntan doubles as ship agent for a number of foreign companies, and is on record to have made indelible contributions to the maritime and logistics sectors.

An avid association player, political pacifier, friend and supporter of the weak as well as the strong, his commitment to professional integrity and the progress of ANLCA, Prince Oduntan also stands out as a champion and advocate of good governance and policy stability in the freight forwarding profession in Nigeria.

Prince Oduntan distinguished himself not only in his field of endeavor but also in the philanthropic and humanitarian arena where he gives regularly to the less privilege.  His commitment to service is further demonstrated by his involvement in various organizations including the Lagos Country Club.

A graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Nsukka and a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping, Prince Oduntan holds numerous honorary awards in the shipping and freight industry in Nigeria.
