Customs Releases Final List of Successful ASC II Candidates

Sets July 29 Medical Screening Portal Deadline

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II).
The Service, in a statement issued on Monday by its National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada, directed successful candidates to visit the official NCS website or check selected national newspapers to confirm their status and obtain details of the next stage of the recruitment process.
According to the Service, successful candidates will also receive further instructions through their registered email addresses and/or SMS notifications.
Upon receipt of the notification, candidates are required to log on to the designated recruitment portal using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
The Customs Service said the portal for uploading the medical certificates would be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, adding that candidates would have one week from the date of activation to complete the process.
The Service further directed successful candidates to accurately update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept their provisional offers of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
Thereafter, candidates who successfully complete the stipulated requirements are expected to await the issuance of their Trainee Identification Number, which the Service said would be communicated within one week.
The NCS explained that further details concerning documentation and physical screening including dates, venues and specific requirements would be communicated through its official channels.
While congratulating the successful candidates, the Service warned that strict compliance with all requirements and timelines was mandatory, stressing that failure to complete any of the prescribed stages within the stipulated period could lead to disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
The recruitment process, according to the NCS, is part of its continuing effort to strengthen its workforce and build a professional, integrity-driven Customs Service capable of effectively discharging its responsibilities to the nation.
The Comptroller General of Customs, on behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, congratulated the successful candidates and expressed the Service’s readiness to welcome them into its fold as they begin careers dedicated to professionalism, integrity and service to the nation.
