In a significant move towards promoting work-life balance and wellness among its officers and men, the Comptroller General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, Saturday, led his officers and men on a Work-Life Balance exercise in Kano.

A statement by the Customs National Public Relations Officer, CSC Abdullahi Maiwada states that the event  which took place at the Kano Race Course, saw active participation from the officers and men of the Kano/Jigawa Command.

Speaking at the event, the CGC emphasised the importance of regular physical activity for overall health officers and men. He further encouraged all officers to incorporate exercise into their daily routines as such activities contribute to better service delivery and operational efficiency.

The work-life balance exercise which the CGC introduced earlier in the year is one of many initiatives by the Nigeria Customs Service aimed at promoting the well-being of its officers and ensuring they are fit to meet the demands of their duties.
