He admonished Muslims to be faithful to Allah via their individual service and to humanity across board irrespective of tribe, religion,  colour or creed as this tenet was what made the Prophet Ibrahim the Father of Faith in Islam when he obeyed Allah to sacrifice his son Ismail for the Almighty in absolute obedience.

The number one Maritime leader and Deputy President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) further urged Muslims to be very tolerant in all they do putting into cognisance the four tenets of Islam and reflecting on the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim, which is the symbol and significance of the Eid-El-Kabir Muslims all over the world celebrate.

“The Eid as it were gives us ( Muslims) hope in Islam, which is the more reason we should not deviate from the principles and practice of Islam in Nigeria nay the world. Once more, we in the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria do felicitate with every Muslim faithful in the country”, he said in a statement signed by MWUN Media Head, Kennedy Ikemefune.
