Koko Pulls Major Management Shake-Up
Appoints 3 Port Managers, Redeploy Others

In the quest to achieve regional maritime hub status through operational efficiency, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mohammed Koko has pulled off a major operational overhaul by approving the appointment of three new Port mangers.
The new appointees, Yitnoe Stanley Magaji , echnical Assistant Marine and Operations to the Managing Director was appointed Port Manager Onne, while Buba Jibril, former Traffic Manager LPC moves to Tin Can Island Port as Port Manager; with Ovbude Nelson Uwaifo. Traffic Manager, Dangote Jetty, now Port Manager Calabar.
According to a statement by the Authority General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications, Olaseni Alakija made available to our reporter, the erstwhile Port Manager Tin Can Island Port Engr. Yunusa Ibrahim Anji, moves to corporate headquarters as Assistant General Manager Port Engineering. Also affected is Dantsoho M. Abubakar, former Port Manager Onne, redeployed as Technical Assistant on Special Duties to Managing Director.
Other appointments include Okaga Charles Bamidele, Principal Manager Traffic, now Technical Assistant Marine and Operations to the Managing Director; Leoso Akintunde Oladipo, Principal Manager Traffic LPC, redeployed as Traffic Manager Lagos Port Complex while, while Aliyu Abubakar, former Principal Manager Traffic Kirikiri Lighter Terminal, has now takes over as Traffic Manager, Dangote Jetty, Lekki.
The statement said the appointments take immediate effect.
