Customs CG, Others Congratulates ANLCA President, Nwokeoji

The Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR has congratulated Mr. Emenike Kingsley Nwokeoji for his emergence as the newly elected National President of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA).
The customs boss’ congratulatory message is coming amid the shower of felicitations by other corporate and diverse interests groups, hailing and extolling the character and urbane disposition of the new leader of ANLCA.
Adeniyi in a press statement issued by the Customs National Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Maiwada said he believes that the election process held penultimate week reflects the wishes of members, and the confidence and trust that they have in Nwokeoji to take them to the next destination through collective engagement.
The statement reads: “The Acting CGC is confident that Mr. Nwokeoji will provide solid and visionary leadership to ANLCA while working closely with the Nigeria Customs Service to enhance the collaboration between the two organizations.
“In addition, the Acting CGC commends the Customs Consultative Council for brokering peace between different factions within ANLCA and for facilitating the process that led to the conduct of a successful election.
“While the NCS eagerly anticipates a productive partnership in advancing the customs brokerage sector and promoting the interests of customs agents throughout Nigeria, the CGC urges all Customs Licensed Holders to be law abiding and live up to the terms and conditions of their license whether as individuals or groups.”
Earlier, the Customs Consultative Council (CCC) acknowledged the leadership qualities exhibited by Nwokeoji during the electioneering campaigns and on the day of voting, noting that the new leader of ANLCA’s disposition is a trilogy of innate strength and capacity to deliver on a wide range prospects.
